Meet Dylan — Founder of A Helpful Tech
About Dylan Stuwe
Dylan founded A Helpful Tech with a simple belief: technology should make life easier, not more frustrating. He specializes in patient, senior-friendly tech support that helps older adults stay connected, safe, and confident using today’s devices.
With an Associate in Applied Science in Cybersecurity & Network Administration and hands-on experience in IT support, electrical systems, and troubleshooting, Dylan brings both technical expertise and real-world problem-solving skills to every appointment. He has worked in environments where accuracy, safety, and attention to detail were essential—experience he now brings directly into your home.
Dylan’s passion for helping seniors began at home, assisting his aging parents with everyday technology. From setting up Google Voice, installing home cameras, improving Wi-Fi and networks, and teaching them how to use their computers and smartphones, he saw just how empowering the right support could be. His mom often told him he was “patient and good at teaching”—and that patient approach is now the foundation of A Helpful Tech.
His wife, an elder law and estate planning attorney, also shared how many seniors don’t know where to turn for trustworthy, reliable technology help. Too often, they miss out on tools that could improve safety, independence, and quality of life simply because there’s no one to guide them. Dylan created A Helpful Tech to change that—by offering compassionate, in-home tech support seniors can truly trust.
As a former Army National Guard member, Dylan brings reliability, integrity, and a service-first mindset to every client relationship. He understands that inviting someone into your home is personal, and he treats each client with the respect and patience they deserve.
When Dylan isn’t solving Wi-Fi issues or setting up new devices, you’ll find him building PCs, tinkering with home projects, or spending time with his two kids—his favorite job of all is being a dad.
A Helpful Tech exists for one reason: to give seniors clear, friendly, judgment-free technology help so they can stay connected to the people and activities they love.
